Speak Easy Languages was born from a personal journey. Founded by Lavanya Narvania, an entrepreneur and filmmaker based between Paris and Lisbon, the platform was inspired by the very challenges he faced when relocating from India to Europe.

Like many newcomers, Lavanya quickly discovered that navigating daily life, building professional relationships, and truly integrating into a new culture often depended on language. Despite speaking English fluently, mastering European languages proved to be a significant challenge. From administrative appointments and business meetings to simple everyday conversations, the language barrier often felt overwhelming.

Everything changed when he began his journey towards fluency in French. Through consistent practice, structured learning, and immersion, he experienced firsthand how language could unlock opportunities, confidence, and meaningful connections. What started as a personal struggle soon evolved into an idea: to create an affordable, accessible, and flexible language-learning platform designed for modern learners.
